Ana B’Ko'ach is a beautiful and ancient piyut (liturgical poem) pleading with G-d to employ His might to free the captive, accept the prayers of the people, and safeguard and renew those who seek the shelter of His Divine presence. 
Jewish mystics see in this prayer the spiritual source code of creation itself, as the first letter of each word combined makes up the 42-letter name of G‑d.
Chassidic teachings explain that this to be recited whenever the soul (neshama) is in need of a spiritual lift.
